We have two summer student positions open at Bell Labs for research in
the areas of software analysis and testing. One position is in Murray
Hill, NJ (close to New York City), the other is in Naperville, IL (close
to Chicago). Both positions are funded by an NSF-NASA grant awarded to
us recently, and will involve working closely with the members of our
team, namely Dennis Dams, Patrice Godefroid, Nils Klarlund and Kedar
Namjoshi. PhD students with good programming skills are preferred for
these research positions. Expertise in one or more of these areas is a
definite plus: static program analysis methods, software testing and
automated test generation, model checking, and theorem proving/decision
procedures. Interested candidates should send their resume to Patrice
Godefroid (god@research.bell-labs.com) or Kedar Namjoshi
(kedar@research.bell-labs.com).

Could you please forward this info to your students who might be
interested and qualified?

Many thanks in advance,

Patrice
